Accepting applications for Board Members

Deer Park Ambulance currently has open board member positions. We are looking for people who want to join a dynamic team. Perfect candidates would have the following:

• Access to a computer and emails for communications.

• Be willing to accept an officer position (Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer)

• Must be able to attend meetings 1-2 times a month (about 2 hours each)

• Preferred would be community members in Loon Lake and Suncrest areas.

• Understanding of 501c3 agencies or previous board experience would be welcomed!

Board of Directors Application

Accepting applications for EMS Volunteers

All volunteers must attend New Member Orientation and complete a field training and evaluation program (FTEP) prior to being released to the field to work. Prior to orientation, applicants are required to pass an interview, drug test and cognitive exam.

COMPLETE APPLICATION MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

We offer volunteer orientation one to two times per year depending on the number of volunteer applications that we receive and the need of our agency. We are currently collecting applications for our next orientation.

EMT-BASIC VOLUNTEER

Requirements:     

1. Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application

2. Must have current National Registry of EMTs certification (NREMT). WA State EMT preferred at time of hire.

3. Must have a valid drivers license and no major moving violations within the last 3 years.

4. Must complete a DPA Written Examination with a satisfactory score (This is completed on scheduled test date)

ADVANCED EMT VOLUNTEER

Requirements:     

1. Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application

2. Must have current WA State Advanced EMT Certification or certificate of completion of an approved Advanced EMT class

3. Must have a valid drivers license and no major moving violations within the last 3 years.

4. Must complete a DPA Written Examination with a satisfactory score

PARAMEDIC VOLUNTEER

Requirements:     

1. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of application

2. Must have current WA State Paramedic Certification or certificate of completion of an approved Paramedic class

3. Must have a valid drivers license and no major moving violations within the last 3 years.

4. Must complete a DPA Written Examination with a satisfactory score

5. Field experience as a Paramedic is preferred.
